My desire to express and create from within began as a ballet dancer. I spent twelve years dancing and earned a B.A. in dance. I started practicing yoga in 2001 and it changed my life forever. I was inspired and began my practice under the teachings of Amy Caldwell and Michael Fukumara. I experienced the power of being, formlessness, connecting to self and allowing presence. I completed the teacher training course at Yoga One and was filled with a desire to share this with others. A daily yoga practice became my life; the link to health and well being. Yoga has taught me to be loving and compassionate within and without. My classes are rooted in breath and I remind students to feel the movements while expressing them from the heart. Yoga is a journey; there is no destination only exploration.
